FAITH FOR EVERY DECISION
PSALM 37:5.. COMMIT THY WAY UNTO THE LORD; TRUST ALSO IN HIM; AND HE SHALL BRING IT TO PASS.
We can trust God’s plans for our lives.
People of all ages make important decisions. A child, for instance, decides who her closest friends will be. A student chooses the college he will attend. A professional finds herself forced to select a new career. Life is filled with important decisions. Even minor ones can prove to be more major than anyone first thought.
Daily life provides all of us with decisions we must make. Make a mental list of the decisions you have had to make in the last month alone. It may surprise you just how many times you have been faced with a choice.
With many of these, it was simply a matter of choosing–weighting pros and cons, researching details, and making an informed choice. Along the way, however, we all encounter decisions that are major. They may require more wisdom and information than we can muster. We may well find that we need help in making them.
In times like these. Christians have a great asset through their relationship with God. No believer has to face a decision alone, struggling to decide what to do, which choice to make. God desires to help every believer face and make choices. Armed with His unlimited wisdom and His loving guidance, a believer can make choices with confidence and not fear the outcome.
We may be facing major decisions. If so we need to pray with one another about the decisions we have to make so as we will make the right choice.
The greatest choice involves eternity. We need to point the unsaved toward Christ and encourage them to make the decision to serve Him.
