Psalm 84: 11
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will be withhold from them that walk uprightly
Wow! Favor and honor from the Lord, all for me! These gifts He gives willingly to me and to you in our terrible dusty states, knowing that we need them and can never give them to ourselves. Ask, and He will keep "no good thing" from you; and what does He ask in return?
Not that we're perfect, lest we misunderstand. The charge is present tense and must be addressed and renewed as long as we live. To walk a walk "blameless" with Him is to walk a walk that never stops, even when we fell along the way. It's to walk now, today not when we're good enough." It's not a walk that ends when we spill a little dust ( for even a lot of dust). It's not a walk that is dependent on us erasing all of our mistakes.
When we become "blameless," it is only because God has chosen to make to make us so, granting us redemption when we seek it. He doesn't make us perfect; He just bears the burden of our blame for us. Because He sweeps the piles of dust away, the path is clean. We can walk with Him save and secure, knowing that our dust is never too much for Him. Our walk is now and eternal.
I like this, He doesn't say, "This mess you've made I hold against you," but instead, "I've got it now...... Walk with me."
Praise the Lord, we have a awesome God. He takes the duster and cleans our paths for us so we will less lickly to stumble.
Pray all will have a great Lord's day tomorrow. It sure is beautiful outside today.
Please pray for me, as I have an unspoken request. Thank you.
Love, Norma
