Surprise Cake
1 white cake mix (and ingredients to make the cake according to Package directions) 2 cups miniature marshmallows 1 can fruit pie filling
Spray a 9X13 cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spread the Marshmallows in the bottom of the pan in a single layer. Mix the cake Batter according to package directions and pour onto the marshmallows. Spoon the fruit pie filling on top of the batter in 5-6 globs.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until cake pulls away from the edges Of the pan.
This is really good like this or you can cool completely and make a Glaze from powdered sugar and milk and drizzle over the top. Made it with cherry, blueberry, pineapple, and apple pie fillings. It Makes a really moist cake.
The "surprise" is that the marshmallows cook to the top and the pie Filling goes to the bottom.
