THE TRUMPET JUDGEMENTS UPON THE EARTH.
REV. 8:7-8...THE FIRST ANGEL SOUNDED, AND THERE FOLLOWED HAIL AND FIRE MINGLED WITH BLOOD, AND THEY WERE CAST UPON THE EARTH; AND THE THIRD PART OF TREES WAS BURNT UP, AND ALL GREEN GRASS WAS BURNT UP.

The trumpets should not be confused with the trump of God, which will sound at the resurrection of the dead saints, and the gathering of the living saints. (I cor. 15:51-52; I Thess. 4:16-17).
The trumpet of wrath will occur after the Rapture has transpired. The saints will be with the Lord Jesus in heaven when the seven angels sound their trumpets. The sounding of the seventh trumpet is not the time of the rapture.
The judgment trumpets and their effect could be considered in the light of God’s judgments upon Egypt in the time of Moses. The judgments of Egypt affected man, the waters, and the earth; and so will the tribulation plagues. However, the performance of the two magicians was merely by enchantment–magic mirages. The people of the earth will be forewarned of these plagues; therefore, they are the righteous judgments of God. The angel of the waters said, EVEN SO, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS ARE THY JUDGMENT. REV. 16:7.

Three plagues are mingled together, causing a disastrous catastrophe in which the third part of the green trees will be destroyed and all the green grass burned. This fire will spread rapidly through the fields and forest, and plant life will be consumed with the burning grass and trees.
The wrath of hail and fire mixed with blood will greatly affect mankind upon the earth. The plague will affect the Common Market in gathering food from the fields. The sufferings of men will be intensified; the people already are suffering from the universal famine of the third seal opening (Rev. 6:5-6).
During the Israelites Egyptian bondage, the plague of fire killed both men and beasts. The heavens gave forth thundering, while the fire ran along upon the ground. However, the Israelites who were living in the land of Goshen were not affected by the plague. Just as God protected His people then, He will protect the raptured saints from the great tribulation..REV. 3:10. BECAUSE THOU HAST KEPT THE WORD OF MY PATIENCE, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, TO TRY THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH. (See also Luke 21:36).
The sealed remnant, will not be hurt by the plagues of wrath. REV. 9:4..AND IT WAS COMMANDED THEM THAT THEY SHOULD NOT HURT THE GRASS OF THE EARTH, NEITHER ANY GREEN THING, NEITHER ANY TREE; BUT ONLY THOSE MEN WHICH HAVE NOT THE SEAL OF GOD IN THEIR FOREHEADS. Some of these scriptures I have used before but need to use them again as a reminder. God will take care of His people.
