I think this is supposed to go before the judgeing of the nations.
THE BINDING OF SATAN
REV. 20:2...AND HE LAID HOLD ON THE DRAGON, THAT OLD SERPENT, WHICH IS THE DEVIL, AND SATAN, AND BOUND HIM A THOUSANDS YEARS.
Satan, the foe of all mankind from Adam to this present generation, will be bound in the bottomless pit and sealed up for one thousands years. He will not be released until Christ will have finished His reign on the earth. Peace and joy will be great in the earth, and the glory of the Lord will fill the earth as the waters cover the sea..(Rev. 20:1-3).
The binding of Satan is an eventful occurrence which will immediately follow the Armageddon. The bottomless pit where Satan will be bound is a pit without a bottom. It contains smoke as of a great furnace, and demons shaped like unto horses will come out of the pit upon the earth. (Rev. 9:1-10).
Hell is referred to as a pit where Satan will be cast, and it has walls thereof (Isa. 14:15. Many fallen angels have already been cast into hell and are bound in chains unto the day of judgment..(II Peter 2:4; Jude 6).
Lucifer, an angel of God, fell before the creation of man. He lifted up his heart in pride, desiring to be God; there fore, he was cast to the earth. The Scriptures designate him as Satan, Dragon, that old serpent, the devil. (Eze. 28:1-19; Isa. 14:12-14).
Therefore, hell was prepared for Satan and his angels, and those who sin against God.
(Matthew 25:41; I John 3:8).
Jesus said that He beheld Satan as lightning falling from heaven. (Luke 10:18).
The angel that abound Satan held in his hand a great chain and the key of the bottomless pit. To another angel was given the key of the bottomless pit, and he opened the pit with the key. When Jesus came forth from the dead, he held the key of hell and of death. (Rev. 1:18; 9:1-30).
The gates of hell will not prevail against the church; but wicked men will be tuned into hell, with all the nations that forget God (Matt. 16:18; Psa. 9:17).
As long as Satan remains loose, there can be no lasting peace upon the earth. Satan is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour..( I Peter 5:8).
Satan has never been bound; he has worked ceaselessly through the ages to destroy the Creation of God. In the time of Job, Satan was going to and fro, walking up and down in the earth. (Job. 1:6-7).
In the beginning of the tribulation, the time of peace and prosperity, Satan will give his throne, power, and great authority unto the Antichrsit.. (Rev. 13:1-2).
Satan has long desired to be worshiped. When Jesus was on earth, Satan tried to sway Jesus to worship him, but Jesus overcame him. During he tribulation the desire of Satan will be fulfilled; the people who worship the Antichrist will also worship Satan. (Rev. 13:4).
Satan will be cast out of the midair where he is prince. When the Rapture transpires, Satan will be defeated and cast unto the earth. At that time he will yield his authority unto the Antichrist. The Antichrist and the False Prophet will be filled with the spirit of Satan to perform miracles.. (Rev. 16:13-14).
The ten kings will be deceived by the spirit of Satan and will fight against Christ in the Armageddon.
The final doom of Satan will come when he is cast into the lake of fire, where the Antichrist and the False Prophet were cast before the Kingdom age..(Rev. 19:20; 20:10).
