Popeye's Biscuits
4 cups bisquick 1/2 cup sour cream 1 cup club soda (room temperature I stick butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix bisquick, sour cream, and club soda together, pour on floured surface and knead very lightly.
Roll out to about 1/2" thickness and cut with cutter. Melt butter and pour on the floured casserole dish. Place biscuits in dish and pour remaining butter over the biscuits.
If you would like to use less butter, do not put butter in bottom of the pan, just pour a little over the top. Also, make sure that the club soda has never been refrigerated and still has a lot of fizz.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
It is easy to half the reciepe. We found that half the butter worked well.
A friend sent this to me, haven't tried it yet, but plan on it as soon as I get some soda and sour cream.
Enjoy
